Park Species Detail: Bowes et al. (1999) documented within ANP during 1998; historically present in at least 6 of the 21 ponds in the park on Mount Desert Island. Recently documented at Aunt Betty Pond (1998, J. Le), Bubble Pond (1998, J. Le), Eagle Lake (April-May 1981), and stocked into Jordan Pond during April-May 1981. Farris (1992) seined from Bass Harbor Estuary during October 1990 to October 1991. Fuller and Cooper (1946) collected during surveys with seines in Long Pond and Eagle Lake during the summer of 1942.
