Park Species Detail: Hamilton, 2004: Voucher specimen probable at CNWR./ /Hill, 1986: Introduced, from E Asia, cultivated. Shrub. June. Disturbed sands, near houses, escaped or persistent from cultivation. Rare on Assateague, seen only on Great Egging Island near old house site. Frequently cultivated throughout MD. There are no Higgins specimens at MARY. (Higgins #323). MD & VA? Slides: B72-1 to B72-3./, Park Species Data Source: Hill, 1986
