Notes
Park Species Detail: DCR, 2003: Highly Invasive Species./Fleming, 2003: Although recorded in fewer (6) plots, Alliaria petiolata poses a significant threat to the compositional integrity of the Piedmont/Mountain Bottomland Forest and Basic Mesic Forest communities due to its high shade-tolerance and ability to naturalize in undisturbed forests with suitably mesic, fertile soils. This species is rampant in floodplain forests of the Park, and has been for some time./Dibble, 2003: Found in Carter Woods study plots with relatively few invasive non-native species and in Carter Woods and Brawner Woods study plots invaded with non-native species./, Park Species Data Source: Fleming, 2003; Dibble, 2003; Belden, 1998;
