Russell (1984?) Common spring migrant, abundant fall migrant. Good spots include the flats at Trenton, the Sand Beach Pool, and the Bass Harbor Marsh. Bond (1969) transient and often seen in summer on MDI. Bond (19??) Common transient, most numerous in late summer and early fall. Sullivan (1937): Transient, common in August and September, rare in spring. Eliot (1931): Also observed on MDI by Mr. And Mrs. C.R. Robbins on 25 July 1916.
