Park Species Detail: Lithobates catesbeianus supercedes former nomenclature as Rana catesbeiana. Park IPM control protocol has been to kill adult frogs and preserve them in 90% ethanol for dissection in area school science labs, Park Species Data Source: Layes, Michael. 2002 FOCL Amphibian Inventory.
