Russell (1984?): Accidental, one record since 1950, an immature found dead on a lawn in Northeast Harbor on 2 April 1968 and given to Barbara Patterson (now in the University of Maine collection). A handwritten note lists this species at Beaver Dam Pond on 10-14 August 1979 (MBL 1(4)).
Palmer (1949) Mrs. E.A. Anthony has a specimen captured at Southwest Harbor between 19 and 25 March 1941.
Bond (19??) vagrant from the south; March and April records.).
Tyson and Bond (1941): Accidental on MDI.
