Park Species Detail: In the above report, black noddies were reported as seen in September 2003 during another survey of KALA. These birds were detected along the rocky Kalawao coastline during the 2003 shoreline bird survey. In 2005, several black noddies are nesting in the rocky cliffs on the same shoreline, at Kukaiwa'a., Park Species Data Source: NATUREBIB-598977, Kalapapa shoreline bird survey
