Notes
Park Species Detail: Engbring & Ramsey state that the brown booby is listed as an uncommon resident on Tutuila, Aunu'u, Ofu and Olosega, common resident on Rose and a visitor to Ta'u and Swains. Along Pola Islet (in NPSA) this species was one of the most common seabirds seen over the water and flying about the cliffs, about 100-200 birds. No eggs or downy young were located. O'Connor & Rauzon report that brown boobies were present in about equal numbers in and outside of the park in 2000 (counted 114 individuals)., Park Species Data Source: NATUREBIB-601628, O'Connor & Rauzon 2004; NATUREBIB-3284, Engbring & Ramsey 1989
