Park Species Detail: Synonym = Lithophragma tenellum var. tenellum (material in this Park Unit, in part), Lithophragma tenellum var. thompsonii (material in this Park Unit, in part). Formerly spelled Lithophragma tenella. Note: Lithophragma tenellum var. thompsonii varietal status has been subsumed back into Lithophragma tenellum. L. tenellum var. thompsonii (Hoover) C.L. Hitchcock was dropped from consideration as a rare plant at the Idaho Native Plant Society rare plant meeting in 2001 because this variety was subsumed under L. tenellum and no longer recognized. This form is sparingly present in the southern portions of this Park. Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally occurring (or expected to occur) throughout the Park Unit, usually except at greatest elevations of the foothills.
