Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Introduced, from Europe. Annual herb. April-June. Disturbed sands, often wet. Infrequent to rare on Assateague, seen only near old rescue station and Candleberry Trail maintenance area, North Beach. Infrequent in MD. Not reported by Higgins.
