Notes
Park Species Detail: MD Heritage, 1997: Goldenseal, and dwarf larkspur (Delphinium tricorne) are unique to the Great Valley region of Maryland. Protection of this high quality limestone woods habitat would greatly advance the long term conservation of biodiversity in this region of Maryland. Management challenges include addressing non-native invasive plants, deer overpopulation, stream bank restoration and trail maintenance next to rare populations. State Watchlist G5 S3. More common in other parts of Wash. Co.Monitor/Engelhardt, 2005: Found 3 times in 78 inventoried plots./Townsend, 2005: Not reported in Virginia Rare Vascular Plant List nor in Virginia Vascular Plant Watchlist./ 2009 State Rank S3: State Watchlist, Park Species Data Source: Langdon, 1986-Entire Park; ; Engelhardt, 2005-Entire Park; MD Heritage, 1997-Snavely Ford Woods;
