In legacy NPSpecies Residency was Unknown with comment: Two reproductively active adult females and 9 juveniles were captured on the park in 2004-2005 (Foster et al. 2007, Bibkey #650727). However, this species is only known to reproduce in caves and there are no confirmed gray bat maternity caves located on the park. Also, this species is know to travel long distances on nightly foraging trips and confirmed gray bat maternity caves are located close enough to the park for the bats captured by Foster et al. (2007) could have traveled to the park to forage.
