Park Species Detail: RangeCode = lo; Range = Low elevations-850ft.-2,500ft. ATBI Sensitivity = Public, Park Species Data Source: White et.al. 1982-98. Philadelphus sharpianus - Species Notes: Taxonomically unclear, unable to rank, but little current information. Considered extant in Great Smoky Mountain National Park (state unspecified) in 1990. Two varieties (vars. parviflorus and var. sharpianus) have been named, but are not currently recogn STATUS: Native, Rare, Present in Park.
