Notes
Park Species Detail: Witt (1997) reports this species in areas adjacent to the park. Russell (1984?) Uncommon fall through spring, casual in summer. Lists many observations, none within park boundaries. Favour (1970): 1 observed on 27 December 1962 during the MDI CBC, also observed on 28 December 1969 at Seal Harbor Beach. Bond (19??) rather rare winter visitor. Tyson and Bond (1941): one seen "off Otter Cliffs" on 11 February 1925. Sullivan (1937): Very rare winter visitor; one observed off Otter Cliffs on 11 February 1935. Checklist information updated 4/8/03 by professional judgement of Bruce Connery, ACAD wildlife biologist.
