Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Perennial herb. Aug.-Oct. Fresh marsh, open areas. Infrequent but apparently widespread on the island, frequent in MD overall. Easily confused with #28 (Cyperus filicinus, ASIS Herbarium), but just as easily separated by the fruits. Not reported by Higgins./, Park Species Data Source: Hill, 1986
