Notes
Park Species Detail: PM: There is no duplicate at UC/JEPS for Valentine #100. Only 13 Valentine specimens in Consortium, 7 at YM. All C. affinis in the Consortium database for Mariposa and Tuolumne counties are Hwy 49 and west, not in the vicinity or elevations of the park. However, all the specimen records in the Consortium for Valentine, including collection numbers 94 and 149 are labeled “Yosemite National Park.” No Castilleja affinis (nor any Castilleja) occur in 1930s vegetation type mapping plot data. Do not assume specimen is from park. Do not add species to list. But pull record aside for verification and to check label data to see if there’s a clear indication of location. EF: Added as Incomplete Entry From Historic Specimens in ANCS
