Tulane University voucher specimen by Bretting #141 for Chalmette Unit was determined as Rorippa palustris and redetermined to be Rorippa palustris ssp. fernaldiana by D.M. Ferguson (2008). Tulane University voucher specimens by Bretting #191, 160, and 89 from Chalmette Unit were misidentified (as Rorippa palustris) and redetermined to be Rorippa sessiliflora by Darwin and Sundell (1980) and D.M.
