Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Introduced, from Europe. Flowers white (5 stamens). Annual. April-May. Roadsides. Infrequent on the island, apparently restricted to causeway area to North Beach. First record for Maryland. Differing from #298 (ASIS Herbarium, Holosteum umbellatum) by its 5 stamens. Not reported by Higgins. MD only./
