Notes
Park Species Detail: Per Cathleen Bailey, HALE biologist: Conant and Stemmerman, 1979, reports "Two exotic species reported by Ruhle (1959), the Californial Quail and the House Sparrow, were not recorded during our surveys. Apparently they were never common in the Crater District and have not persisted since earlier sightings. Only one other report of the California Quail (Carpenter 1959a) occurs in the literature". There have been no confirmed inventory reports of this species.
