Park Species Detail: Uncommon, occurring in marshy areas where broadleaf cattails commonly thrive. The Heidel report (2004) identifies this species as Epilobium palustre var. gracile (see ITIS)., Park Species Data Source: Collected by Robert Dorn (RD 9930) and Bonnie Heidel (BH 2510) during a floristic inventory conducted in 2003-2004 (Heidel, 2004).
