Park Species Detail: Alsop (2001) includes it on the park list; Park Observations include four records since 1989, including one individual flying low enough to possibly be hunting at Purchase Knob in 2004; none were perched. ATBI Sensitivity = Public Species Notes: Rare Migrant; Considered conspecific with I. PLUMBEA by some authors (AOU 1983). STATUS: Native, Migratory, Occasional, Present in Park.
