Park Species Detail: Hill, 1986: Native. Perennial herb. July-Oct. Fresh marsh, in open wet sand, tolerant of brackish conditions as well. Infrequent and local on the island, seen only at site 3.7 mi NE of VA line. considered "common" by Higgins (Higgins #99). See Vegetation Mapping Report.
