Occurrence Notes
The recent splitting of what was once one species, Fundulus zebrinus and associated distribution information would likely place this as the Northern Plains Killifish, Fundulus kansae. Since this is an introduced species, it is unknown what the source population was. F. zebrinus are found south of the OK/TX state line, while F. kansae are found north, including in Colorado. The species are too difficult to distinguish to be certain of species.; Data Source: Trammel 2005, Fish Certification
