Occurrence Notes
suspected. From Patla and Peterson (2004): "Two unconfirmed observations of Spea intermontana or S. bombifrons are reported for YELL in Koch and Peterson (1995). Searches for spadefoots were conducted on Fairy Creek downstream of Fairy Falls in 2002 (June 21 and Aug. 6), in the vicinity of the last reported observation (1982). No spadefoots have been found during targeted searches or encountered during surveys, and no observations have been reported (to our knowledge). Spadefoots thus remain unconfirmed in YELL."; Data Source: Chuck Peterson, Herpetologist - Idaho State University, Doug Keinath-Lead Zoologist-Wyoming Natural Diversity Database
