Lea, 2000: Carex lurida Wahlenberg (Yellow-green Sedge)Common. In a variety of open wet areas, including scoured channel shelf woodlands, open floodplain forests, wet meadows, edges of ponds and the C&O Canal, and edges of forested vernal pools.
