Park Species Detail: Lea, 2000: Carex amphibola Steudel (Eastern Narrowleaf Sedge)Common. In floodplain and rich dry-mesic upland forests. This taxon has been treated as Carex amphibola Steudel var rigida (Bailey) Fernald (Fernaid, 1950), but is now considered the type for C. amphibole (Naczi, 1999).
