Notes
Park Species Detail: Although not encountered in this study, VAFO is well within its range, it was detected by Cypher in 1985, and reliable records exist from Chester and Montgomery Counties. This species is possibly present in the park at low density, with numbers potentially reduced due to high visitor density (these snakes are considered excellent pets) and the practice of mowing the ecotonebetween forest and meadow., Park Species Data Source: Tiebout, 2003. NPBIB-552045., Accepted Detail: The following sources were used to certify this species record: (1) Hulse, A. C., C. J. McCoy, and E. J. Censky. 2001.
