Notes
Park Species Detail: Observation in 1991 needs confirmation. Not documented with a specimen for James City County, according to Harvill et al. 1992 and G.P. Fleming pers. comm. 2002./Hamilton, 2005: listed in Environmental Concern Inc. 2000 as a dominant plant species in Plot A2 with Taxodium distichum and Leersia oryzoides. Pers. comm. with Gary Fleming, August 2005: "Nyssa aquatica may well occur here and be a county record. But due to the sketchiness of the documentation, it still needs confirmation.", Park Species Data Source: Environmental Concern Inc., 2000-Jamestown Unit /NeckOLand
