Photographic documentation on 08/04/2012 and on 08/15/2013; confirmed by Grand Canyon Wildlife Biologist Brandon Holton and Northern Arizona University Professor of Biology and Mammalogist Dr. Tad Theimer. GRCA is currently conducting a camera trap study to investigate the distribution of this species in the Park.
