Notes
Two wood bison have been documented, to date (October 2015) in the park having wandered over from the Yukon Territory, Canada. One was photographed by a park game camera by the White River and one was located in Chisana for the entire summer of 2015 where it charged several planes on the airstrip. As fire regimes change the forests on both sides of the Canada/US border it is likely that more wood bison will wander in.
