Notes
Park Species Detail: Bartgis, 1993: Endemic at At Paw Paw Bends North and South, Allegheny County. Wiegand, 1995: Shale-barren ragwort (Senecio anennariifolius) in Maryland is a watchlist plant characteristic of shale slopes and barrens. It was reported at a dozen sites during this survey. All but one of these occurred on shale habitats in Allegany County between Sideling Hill Creek and the Bevan Bends Barrens site. The other one occurred on a shale slope above Sideling Hill Creek just on the Washington County side of the stream. This plant may be more widespread in appropriate shale habitat along the canal than these results indicate., Park Species Data Source: Bartgis, 1993;Wiegand, 1995
