Notes
This species is common throughout the eastern United States. It lives primarily on herbaceous understory vegetation in deciduous forests, but also on foliage of hemlock and other conifers. There exists the possibility that two species are being treated under this name in the northern United States and in GSMNP. It was abundant in the ATBI survey.
