Park Species Detail: State Endangered, Park Species Data Source: A Checklist of the Birds of the Santa Monica Mountains
Changed common name to Ridgway's Rail, per AOU, etc. Currently accepted scientific name for our S Calif. (Santa Barbara) to Baja Calif. population is specifically Rallus obsoletus levipes.
