Data Source: Pogue 2013 (Lepidoptera list compiled by Dr. Michael Pogue, USDA Systematic Entomology Lab in 2013 as result of specimens collected over a number of years). Scientific Name: Colias eurytheme Boisduval . Owlet Moths (Families Erebidae and Noctuidae) of the Valles Caldera National Preserve, Survey conducted by Dr. Michael Pogue, USDA Systematic Entomology Laboratory, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC (updated 2013). Survey conducted by Dr. Paula K. Kleintjes, University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, WI (2001), and by citizen volunteers during the 2008 VCNP Bio Bug Blitz (directed by Mrs. Zoe Anna Duran, with identifications provided by Dr. John Brown of the USDA Systematic Entomology Laboratory, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.).
