Notes
(Setophaga occidentalis) Hermit Warbler is a rare spring and uncommon fall migrant in forested areas on both rims. Sightings in the inner canyon are rare, and there is only one record from the Colorado River: one was at RM 168 on 18 Apr 2007. Previously cited dates for spring migrants, 26 May through 28 Jun (Brown et al. 1985), seem at least a month late and are perhaps in error, but other than the Colorado River record, recent spring records are lacking.
