Masticophis taeniatus taeniatus (Desert Striped Whipsnake) is a common species of the desert scrub, canyon riparian, and pinyon-juniper habitats. It is most common in the riparian communities of the Sonoran Life Zone, with sight records occurring from Bright Angel Canyon.
