Salvadora hexalepis mojavensis (Mojave Patch-nosed Snake) is an uncommon species of the desert scrub habitat and is believed to be restricted to the Lower Sonoran Life Zone of the Grand Canyon. Was considered a common species of Arizona in a status report written by the Colorado River Wildlife Council in 1982.
