Thamnophis elegans vagrans (Wandering Garter Snake) is an uncommon species to the plateau prarie, rim riparian, and ponderosa pine habitats with sight records from North Rim, Neal Springs, Bright Angel Point, Grand Canyon Village, Yaki Point, and Greenland Lake.
