A casual fall and winter visitor to the region. The three records are: one near Supai Village on 23 Sept 1950 (Allan R. Phillips), 10 to 15 at Pierce Ferry on 29 Nov 1951 (Russell K. Grater), and two on the South Rim on 22 Dec 1934 (Russell K. Grater). Conditions may vary among subspecies. Data source: Gatlin, BP. 2011.
