A common summer resident of forested areas throughout the region and along the Colorado River. It is a common spring and fall migrant throughout the region. A group of 300 seen at Lees Ferry on 22 Mar 2000 (Charles T. LaRue) was a surprisingly high number for such an early date. Data source: Gatlin, BP. 2011.
