Elsewhere in the region it is an uncommon spring and fall migrant, with spring migrants present into mid-May and as late as 2 Jun, and fall birds appearing by late August. (Vireo plumbeus) * Plumbeous Vireo, formerly grouped with Cassin’s Vireo under the species name “Solitary Vireo,” is a common summer resident of ponderosa pine and pinyon-juniper woodlands. Elsewhere in the region it is an uncommon spring and fall migrant, with spring migrants present into mid-May and as late as 2 Jun, and fall birds appearing by late August.
