Not certain if this is a migrant species, or if it is a resident to Grand Canyon. In the warm deserts to the south and west, this species has 3 broods and flies year round. Its larvae eat Bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), adults found feeding on Ericameria nauseosa. Hannawacker 2015
