Breeder
Locally this is a spring flier. Its larvae feed on Manzanita (Arctostaphylos sp.) and Buckthorns (Rhamnus sp.). Kilian Roever described seeing them after the North Rim has opened, April 15- May 15 near Cape Royal, and associated with manzanita. Hannawacker 2015
