This species is in synonymy under 2 species (E. suksdorfiana & E. quinqueflora) in Flora of North America vol. 23 2003 and will probably also be so in The Jepson Manual 2nd Ed. (~2007). One voucher (Oswald & Ahart 5026 at CHSC) is E. suksdorfiana. The other vouchers also need to be determined.
