Occurrence Notes
This species was formally lumped with Artemisiospiza belli (Bell's Sparrow) and called Sage Sparrow. The species has since been reclassified as two species; Artemisiospiza nevadensis (Sagebrush Sparrow) and Artemisiospiza belli (Bell's Sparrow). Presence of "Sage Sparrow" CRMO was based on this old taxonomy. Based on range, CRMO would only expect to have the Sagebrush Sparrow.
