Notes
This species was not anticipated in GSMNP. Only two other records exist for North America, both taken at ports of entry on plant material from the Oriental region. The single described species of this genus, Balliella ealensis Badonnel, is from near Eala, Republic of Congo, West Africa. The species was rare in the ATBI survey (two individuals).
