Notes
This species occurs across the southern United States, probably reaching its northern limit in GSMNP. It is also found around the Mediterranean Sea in Europe and North Africa. It inhabits primarily ground litter in oak woodlands, occasionally invading dried cut grass. Only one record exists from GSMNP.
