Notes
This species occurs throughout the southeastern United States, where it inhabits foliage of broad-leaf trees, shrubs, and vines in forests and woodlands. Both sexes occasionally show brachyptery, with wings about one-third the normal size. The species is believed to have been introduced from Europe, where it is widespread. It was abundant in the ATBI survey.
