Notes
This species occurs spottily throughout the eastern United States and southeastern Canada but has not been found south of GSMNP in the East or south of southern Illinois and central Missouri in the West. Only one specimen was taken in the ATBI survey, but others have been taken in GSMNP by other collectors. As with all of the Lichenomima species of the eastern United states north of Florida, this one is found on shaded rock outcrops, stone and cement bridges, and shaded tree trunks.
