Notes
This species was previously known only from the Gulf coast (Texas to Florida) and the Atlantic coast north to southern Georgia. Its discovery in GSMNP represents a notable northward range extension. Its habitat is dead leaves, particularly of palms, yuccas, and Typha. It was rare in the ATBI survey (one individual).
